Wouldn’t you love to turn your brilliant and creative ideas into a chance to earn some extra cash?

How about a LOT of money?

There are several companies online that pay you for your ideas, places like Prizes.org, Bounty it and Picky  Domains have all been discussed here at Work at Home Adventures. But one I have not discussed is called Idea Bounty.

Idea Bounty works with top of the line brands (Chevrolet, BMW, Red Bull, Levis etc) to bring fresh ideas and solutions to businesses in exchange for thousands of dollars! Yes, I said THOUSANDS of dollars.

Let’s address one issue right away, is Idea Bounty a scam?   It’s hard to believe a business would pay thousands of dollars for an idea. I was a skeptic as well and therefore searched the web for signs of scams.

Everything I found about Idea Bounty led me right back to believing this is the real deal.

However, the big payout does not come easily. There are thousands of ideas submitted and only one winner. So you better have one BRILLIANT idea!

There are complaints about Idea Bounty though. Some people feel businesses are getting lots of ideas for a cheap rate.

Even if a business pays $10,000 to the best submission, they most likely receive over a thousand of useful ideas. However, the business has agreed to only use the idea they paid for. Some are still concerned they are giving away their ideas for only a slight chance of making any money from it. I understand that.

That is a risk many people, like myself, are willing to take.  I just love that there is even a slight chance I could win enough money to pay off my car just by submitting an idea. I know and expect I most likely would not be chosen, but why not enter?

Anyone can register at Idea Bounty. However, they do not have a lot of projects going on at once.  Currently there is one campaign paying out $3,500! Visiting the site will give you access to reading over the brief of what is needed and if an idea begins stirring, submit!! Or tell me and I will submit ;).

Most likely you will be thinking it over every chance you have, riding to the grocery store, picking your kids up from school, vacuuming- every idea that comes to mind could be a winner!

Does Idea Bounty Protect Your Intellectual Property while Submitting Ideas?

Protecting your intellectual property is a crucial concern when it comes to sharing your ideas with any platform or organization.

If you’re considering submitting your ideas to Idea Bounty, you might wonder how they ensure the protection of your intellectual property.

Here are the measures Idea Bounty has in place to safeguard your creative concepts.

Understanding Idea Bounty’s Commitment to Intellectual Property Protection

Idea Bounty recognizes the value of your ideas and acknowledges the importance of protecting your intellectual property.

They have implemented various safeguards to maintain the confidentiality and security of the ideas submitted through their platform.

By understanding these measures, you can gain peace of mind when sharing your innovative concepts.

Confidentiality Agreements and Non-Disclosure Policies

One of the primary ways Idea Bounty protects your intellectual property is through confidentiality agreements and non-disclosure policies.

These legal measures ensure that any information you share with Idea Bounty remains confidential and is not disclosed to any third parties without your consent.

Limited Access to Submitted Ideas

To further protect your intellectual property, Idea Bounty restricts access to the ideas submitted on their platform.

Only authorized personnel involved in the evaluation and selection process have access to the submissions.

This restricted access reduces the risk of unauthorized disclosure or misuse of your ideas.

Intellectual Property Ownership

When submitting your ideas to Idea Bounty, it’s essential to understand the terms and conditions regarding intellectual property ownership.

Idea Bounty typically specifies that the business or brand that selects and pays for an idea retains ownership of the concept.

However, they agree to use the selected idea exclusively and not to exploit or disclose any other ideas submitted during the campaign.

Considerations for Intellectual Property Protection

While Idea Bounty strives to protect your intellectual property, it’s crucial to exercise caution and take additional steps to safeguard your ideas.

Here are a few considerations to keep in mind:

1. Prioritize Confidentiality

Before submitting your ideas, ensure you have taken appropriate measures to maintain confidentiality on your end.

Avoid sharing sensitive details or proprietary information that could be easily replicated or misused.

2. Document Your Ideas

This documentation can be helpful in case of any disputes or claims in the future.

3. Explore Legal Protection

Consider seeking legal protection for your ideas by applying for patents, trademarks, or copyrights, depending on the nature of your concept.

Consulting with an intellectual property attorney can provide valuable guidance in this regard.

Great video, Miranda. Great information too. It’s nice to know that there is a company that will pay for different ideas verses just have “contests” for the BEST idea.
