I am a former Independent Contractor with this company. I will warn you DO NOT work for them. This is in your best interest. Look at all reviews as there are many many past employees of Geoff, Megan and Ashley who have been treat so bad by these people.
This is not an angry or vindictive post just letting you all know they are not fair with work or wages. Lack respect for their reps..they will treat you well for a bit then their true colors shine and it’s not nice.
They owned a company name Echo Marketing and they went bankrupt did some funny funky business by switching up Geoff from President to Megan as President formerly the VP. This all done to fly under regulations and restrictions for those who file for bankruptcy.

Hello Mai and Erica,
First, I want to express my appreciation of this site. Erica your site truly is amazing! Made things a lot easier for me to provide my friend with resources available for her based on her experience and expertise! As a single mom of my adorable godson!
One site with variety of options! How convenient! 🙂

Secondly, I must address… Mai you are certainly entitled to have an opinion and I do respect that. However, I have to completely disagree. Causeworx as described on the Company website is a “unique” tele fundraising botique.
Both Ashley and Narandi (another management staff) truly and genuinely in my humble opinion care and support not only the cause of each of the wonderful organization they help, but also value each and every one of their amazing team of sub contractors including myself, with a great deal of appreciation.
I am not in anyway been told or asked to write this comment, I simply do find it in my heart to share how I came from a 3rd party telemarketing company agent being one of their aggressive incentive focused sellers to becoming a motivated Enteprenuer, Co founder of a Toronto networking site and urban clothing line inspiring ( not only Generosity at Causeworx of course! ) but also other individuals to never give up! follow their dreams, and to live a life with passion doing what they love the most!
I am proud to admit that my experience with Narandi’s coaching and training 3 years ago is what sparked this mentality in me.
I left Causeworx after a few months back then as a life situation occurred, though I was never able to forget this amazing team.
I recently rejoined back, and so far Erica I am completely happy and satisfied with the way these people continue to deliver and excute strategically and achieve goals in such powerful ways you will end a shift with a great feeling.
I can go on and on with all the positive experience I have with the company. Instead, I would love to take this opportunity to invite anyone to please apply! and if you’re hired I can only assure you that your experience with the company under the management of these two very capable ladies would be remarkable! 🙂

Kind regards
Lynn

I must say, my partner’s knowledge and ability to properly identify a website like this one and difference between bloggers and the creator being a web designer herself would have been a good help in determining the difference for me earlier…. my apologies Erica, my with inability to distinguish you as a blogger and not site creator.
I have the most respect with bloggers and acknowledgement of the work and information you and fellow bloggers provide with much appreciation.

Hi Erica,

I am the CEO of CAUSEWORX. Thank you for your post on our company. There are a few inaccuracies (wages, employment geography, etc) in your article. Could we chat briefly to correct these?

Secondly, we have never employed a “Mai Woo.” This is actually a comment from a disgruntled former employee that tried to blackmail us for $10,000 or she would contact our clients and employee’s in an attempt to turn them against us. The police was involved. There is a warrant out for her arrest for extortion and theft of company property. She promised no further action in this matter, however, it appears she is not keeping her word.

I would be happy to share the vile emails she sent to us, our employee’s and our clients, in which she wished that Ashley and her baby would die in childbirth and many other false and offensive accusations. I think you will readily be able to judge her state of mind for yourself.

In light of this I would ask that you please REMOVE this erroneous and slanderous comment.

Finally I will say this. CAUSEWORX is a company driven to help make charitable giving the best it can be. We work with many of the best non-profits in North America. While we are a TeleFundraising agency, we don’t do any cold calls. We focus on converting a charity’s most loyal donors to regular monthly donors so that money is wasted on on-going mail, email or calls.

I spent 5 years on the phones myself as a telefundraiser. I know first hand how difficult it can be to maintain the energy and motivation to convince people to give monthly giving a try. After several years of calling, even the best caller can wane in their effectiveness. When it’s time to move on, change is often difficult. Sometimes this frustration gets directed at the people or company that communicate this message. While the temptation is understandable, there is no excuse for slandering people because a job didn’t work out the way one wanted.

Thank you for your consideration.

Many thanks,
Geoff

I used to work for this place, and my opinion is that the “manager” they have Narandi just makes the place worse. When she is there there is more mistakes, and forgot, and confusion. This is who they choose to put in this place. can’t you all hires more management and just leave her out, she just makes the place more mixed up than ever. also, can you all start making “policies” clear to people. hire more staff causeworx, you all need more help.
