oDesk Follow-up

In a previous post I shared my experience and understanding about oDesk. I have since finished my profile and I feel eager to share with you my experience so far.

I have not spent much time on the site. I have, taken 5 assessment courses that are used to showcase my abilities to prospective employers.  They are really a great way for someone to know your ability outside of what you claim. Or in other words…PROVE your ability.

I have not applied for any jobs but have had employers contact me about working for them. Unfortunately, all the courses I took were based on call center experience…so my offers have been for phone work. But it’s clear oDesk has plenty of work!

Even if you don’t have the time to fill out a profile, you can browse available jobs on the site without signing up. There is a lot there!!!
