Scoring Free Shipping Deals

I rarely buy anything online without free shipping.

To me, shipping costs seem wasteful.

After all, you don’t have to pay shipping on things you purchase in-store.

To keep costs down when buying online, free shipping deals are always something I look for.

Here’s how you can do the same!

Brad’s Deals

I’ve already mentioned Brad’s Deals, but I’m mentioning it again here.

The site has an awesome list of online retailers that always offer free shipping, no coupon code needed!

I keep this list bookmarked so I always know the best places to shop for free shipping.

That way, you can keep your coupon code space open for other great deals.

FreeShipping

FreeShipping actually isn’t all about free shipping, like the name implies.

It also offers other coupon codes.

But, this site does have plenty of free shipping codes that work are your favorite retailers.

You can browse by category or brand or create your own search.

Ship to Local Stores

You won’t always have luck finding a free coupon code, so I have a couple of other tips to use to get free shipping online.

First, check to see if the retailer offers free shipping to your local store if it also has physical locations.

I’ve done this with places like Walmart, Kmart, and Target.

I’d much rather spend a dollar or two on gas to pick up my shipment from the store myself than pay $10 or $20 just to have it shipped!

Look for an option for ‘Local Pickup’, ‘Ship-to-Store’, or something similar to check if the site has the option.

Use the Chat Option

Next, check to see if the site you want to purchase from has a live chat option.

This is a little-known trick I sometimes do to receive free shipping.

If you can’t find a code for free shipping, there’s no harm in using the live chat function to ask for one!

The number one reason for people to leave their shopping carts without going through with a purchase is because of shipping costs.

Sometimes, you might find an awesome deal for a product, but the shipping cost makes it not such a great deal.

Retailers are smart, and they know that, for some people, that cost will make them leave without a purchase.

Most would rather have a purchase than make someone spend a little more money.

So, you might get lucky and score a free shipping code when you chat with the support team and explain your costs.

It’s worth a shot!

Bonus: Cash Back Shopping Sites

I decided to add some of the best cash back shopping sites.

Why?

Because, after you’ve saved money with coupons and promotions, you can get cash back using these sites!

The way it works is you visit the site.

Find the retailer you want to shop with and click the link to go there.

You’ll get a percentage of your purchase back through the site that you can redeem for rewards or cash!

InboxDollars

One of the many ways to make money on InboxDollars is through cash back shopping.

Your rewards go straight to your InboxDollars account, which you can redeem for cash once you reach $30.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks is an incredible rewards site that offers tons of ways to earn money.

One of the best ways to rack up earnings fast is through cash shopping.

I use Swagbucks the most for cash back shopping and consistently earn enough to cash in my earnings for gift cards just about every other month.

MyPoints

You can earn points whenever you shop with a MyPoints retailer.

Turn in your points for various gift cards, including Amazon, CVS, and Bath & Body Works.

Ebates

Ebates is one of the most well-known cash back shopping sites.

It partners with thousands of retailers, so you can likely find your favorites here.

You get $10 just for joining!

Dosh

Dosh is a new shopping app for iOS and Android.

Browse the deals on the app and complete purchases using your mobile device.

You’ll receive cash back in the app!

You can even use the app to receive cash back rewards when you book hotels.

Tips for Choosing the Best Online Deal Sites to Save Money

1. Check the Reputation

Ensure the deal site you’re considering has a good reputation.

Look for user reviews or ratings online. Well-known sites like Groupon, LivingSocial, and RetailMeNot have established reputations for being reliable and trustworthy.

2. Compare Prices

Before making a purchase, compare prices across different deal sites.

Some sites might offer better discounts than others on certain products or services.

Tools like Honey or PriceGrabber can help automate this process.

3. Consider Variety of Deals

Some deal sites specialize in certain categories, like electronics or travel.

Consider your shopping needs and choose a site that offers a wide variety of deals in the categories you’re interested in.

4. Look at the Fine Print

Always read the terms and conditions of the deals.

Some deals may have specific conditions like blackout dates for travel or a minimum purchase amount.

Make sure the deal is truly a bargain and not a scheme to make you spend more.

5. Evaluate the User Interface

The best deal sites are easy to navigate and user-friendly.

If a site is difficult to use, it can be frustrating and time-consuming. Look for sites with clear categories, easy search features, and a simple checkout process.

6. Verify the Customer Service

Good customer service is vital in case something goes wrong with your purchase.

Check if the site offers easy ways to contact customer service, like a phone number or chat support.

Read customer reviews to get an idea of their service quality and response time.

Conclusion: Best Online Deal Sites

Time to start shopping!

If you’re a frequent online shopper, these sites can save you a ton of money on your purchases.

Hopefully, you’ve learned the best ways to become a savvy online shopper!

Which of the above sites do you use regularly?

Are there any others we didn’t mention that you love to use?
