There’s not much better than making money for things you usually do online anyway, right?

That’s why so many people have turned to reward sites and apps that let you do exactly that.

They not only provide an easy way to make some extra money, but they also give you a fun way to do it.

GrabPoints is one of those sites (it also has an app!) that pays you for stuff you might do online elsewhere, like downloading apps and games or sharing your thoughts with surveys.

You can do it all for GrabPoints instead and get paid for your time.

What is the Grab Points App and Site?

GrabPoints comes from The Marketing Group (TMG), a market research company that’s been around since 2014.

Its other brands are GrabRewards, an app that also helps you make money, mostly by completing offers and surveys, and EarnThatBuck, a message board that’s dedicated to all things making money.

So, GrabPoints is one of the newer kids on the block as far as reward sites go, but it’s also one that’s talked about a lot.

That’s why we wanted to see for ourselves if it’s worth the effort!

On this site, you can do the usual GPT stuff, like:

• Completing offers
• Taking surveys
• Downloading apps
• Watch videos
• Referring friends
• Claiming promo codes

From what I can tell, there’s no longer a GrabPoints app (at least, not that I could find information for on the website or in Google Play).

It looks like the only way to earn is currently by using the website.

Who Can Use It?

According to the GrabPoints website, you must be at least 13 years old to use the site or the app.

The company abides by internet laws regarding children in which it can’t sell or give away any personal information of anyone under the age of 18 without parental permission.

From what I could find, people from any country are welcome to join GrabPoints.

However, some people, depending on their country, will have limited offers and money-earning opportunities available.

How to Sign Up

You can sign up on the website.

Either fill out the quick form with your email address and a password or use the Facebook or Google buttons to sign up with one of those accounts instead.

Once you sign up, you’ll just need to confirm your email address and you’re all set to login start earning.

How to Use GrabPoints to Make Money

There’s a bunch of ways to make money using GrabPoints, and they’re all fun things you can do on the internet.

Complete Offers

This is probably where you’ll make the bulk of your money, especially if there are offers for products or services you need or want anyway.

Just sign up for the product or service – make sure you complete all the requirements – and get your points delivered after your purchase or sign up has been confirmed by the company.

Some offers are 100% free, some are trials, and some require a purchase.

Purchase offers will make more money than free or trial offers, but all of them can boost your earnings relatively quickly.

Take Surveys

The next best earner is probably surveys.

From what I’ve read, there seems to be a good number of surveys available most of the time for members who live in the U.S., U.K. or Canada, while other countries may not see as many.

Most surveys pay at least 500 points ($0.50) and should take between 10 and 20 minutes.

You’ll likely need to answer a few questions before you start the full survey, too, to qualify you to move forward based on your demographics.

If you love sharing your opinions and helping to shape future products and services, then taking surveys can be a fun way to do it.

Download Apps

GrabPoints teams up with app developers to offer points for downloading their apps.

App developers get more advertising for people to use their apps, GrabPoints makes money from them when they buy advertising services, and then the company pays you for helping everyone out.

With these offers, you’ll usually need to complete some requirements to get awarded your points, so make sure you read all the instructions first.

Most apps will require you to reach a specific level or complete a task within the app or game you download to get your points, while others will just require a simple download.

Watch Videos

GrabPoints TV used to be available on the site, but GrabPoints says it’s no longer available.

However, you are still able to watch advertisements, movie trailers, and other videos that advertisers want you to see for a few points, they’re just not incorporated into GrabPoints TV anymore.

These won’t amount to much, but you might as well get paid for your love of entertaining videos, right?

Refer Friends

When you bring people you know (or strangers) to the GrabPoints platform and they sign up using your link, they and you will get rewarded.

Your referral gets 500 points to start with, which is equal to $0.50.

You can also get points to boost your earnings, but how much you get depends on the country your referrals are from.

The site doesn’t explain this well, but I assume that GrabPoints will pay you more to bring in people from countries with more advertisers targeting them, like the United States or United Kingdom.

Once you’re signed up, you can find out exactly how much you can make from referrals depending on where your referrals come from.

GrabPoints is one of the few reward sites that gives out promo codes to help boost your earnings.

You can find these promo codes by following GrabPoints on its social media accounts or watching your email for special announcements.

Once you have a promo code, you just need to head to your dashboard to enter it and claim your free points.

Check Videos at Midnight

Apparently, new videos pop up on the site around midnight each night, so that seems to be the best time for members to check out the newest ones and get first dibs before they’re no longer available.

GrabPoints claims that members can earn “1000s of points” from videos alone when there are several available.

Check GrabPoints First

Do you have something to buy, a service you want to pay for, or a service you want to test out with a trial?

Always check GrabPoints first to see if there’s an offer for it!

If you always pay for stuff you don’t really need just to complete the offer, you’ll end up not really making any money from GrabPoints.

However, if you utilize cash offers by only sticking to buying things or completing trials of stuff you actually need or want, you’ll get money back for doing so.

Remember to check the site first and complete the offer to earn points.

Some of them give you as many as 5,000 points, which is equal to $5, or more.

Watch the Live Feed

This is something really different that other reward sites don’t offer: A live feed.

On your dashboard is where you’ll find it.

The live feed shows you how other members are currently earning their money, so you’ll see exactly what’s working.

In other words, you’ll know where to go to start earning points for yourself!

How Does GrabPoints Pay?

GrabPoints gives you points, as the name suggests, for each of your activities.

Each point is worth $0.001, so the conversions aren’t the easiest.

That means you’ll need 1,000 points to equal $1.

How much you get depends on the activity.

Stuff like watching videos on GrabPoints will pay a few points each.

Surveys are usually 500 points and up, depending on how long they are.

Downloading apps also usually range between 500 and 1,000 points, depending on the requirements needed to get your points.

Some apps, for example, want you to reach level 20 or make a purchase before the app company will pay you your points.

Cash offers can potentially give you the most points, depending on the offer.

Offers that are worth more – like those that require you to pay something – will pay more in points than free offers that only require a quick sign-up.

But these can definitely be the quickest way to boost your earnings.

Finally, referral points depend on what country your referrals come from.

Once you’re signed up, you can use a referral calculator to learn how much you’ll make from each referral.

You need a minimum of 3,000 in points (or $3) to cash out for a PayPal or Amazon reward.

Skrill payments require 5,600 points for a $5 reward.

You can also choose to redeem your points as a cash payment to your Steam Wallet when you earn enough of them for a reward.

Most rewards come within 24 to 48 hours after requesting them.

If you don’t receive yours, be sure to contact GrabPoints within three months, as the company is no longer obligated to fulfill your request after that time.

GrabPoints Review: Is It Legit or a Scam?

GrabPoints is a legitimate site for earning a little extra cash in your spare time.

Will it make you a lot of money?

No – and in order to get a good amount of points, you’ll probably have to spend some money completing offers.

But it does what it should do by offering an opportunity for you to earn money on the side with some fun tasks.

During my research, I’ve seen many more positive reviews of GrabPoints than negative ones, with not many comments about not getting paid.

The biggest issue is that it takes a while to earn enough points to cash out, but that’s a similar complaint with many of these kinds of sites.

Overall, the site sticks to its intentions and offers a fun way to earn rewards online.
