Giveaway! Win Some Money!!

June 20th, 2011 will mark 365 days since I first began writing Work at Home Adventures! Actually, back then it was called Adventures of Working at Home. A lot has changed! When I started writing here it was simply a way to organize what I had been learning. I was working for LiveOps but my family schedule was soon to change. I needed to find a nonphone job as soon as possible.

I was learning a lot through my searching and I had dozens of people asking me for help and tips on a daily basis. It became overwhelming and I often found myself repeating the same information time and again to new people.

Then it hit me. Why not just put it all together in one place and just start giving links instead of writing it out each and every time! Thanks to my friends at LiveOps and the forum there, I had an immediate and faithful group of readers. I believe the success of Work at Home Adventures is due in large part to the encouragement and sharing of my LiveOps friends. I am no longer able to visit the forums there but know that I do miss that drama! 😉

So, here I am, I have tried some things with the site over the last year that have flopped and some that have taken off. This trend will surely continue as I have a lot of new ideas! You have likely seen the YouTube videos I have begun…we will see how that goes. Expect to see some group discussion and conference style meetings where the readers can ask me and other experienced work at home professionals questions. This should be happening in the very near future so stay tuned for more information.

I have also recently joined up with several writers who plan to regularly contribute articles to Work at Home Adventures. This is really helpful for me as I do not always have the time to keep the site fresh. I hope you all enjoy their postings and their own point of views.
