What is Start a Snowball?
Start a Snowball is 501 (c)3 charitable organization that provides grant money to kids who get involved in philanthropic causes. They encourage kids to start their own small philanthropic projects that can “snowball” with the help of Start a Snowball and make a large impact. Start a Snowball does this by providing funding, both for individual and small group projects such as classrooms and youth groups to use as “seed money” to get their projects going. They also provide a place for kids to tell their stories so they can inspire others. They want to create a culture that’s more aware and willing to help those in need by funding and showcasing these acts of kindness that are done by our children.
How much do I make for the articles I write?
As I mentioned above, this is a volunteer position, so you wouldn’t be paid for the articles you write. However, this is a great way to expand your reach and potentially get new writing clients if you’re a freelancer writer.
Is there a certain minimum number of articles?
At this time there is no minimum number of articles that you’ll have to write – whenever there’s an article that needs to be written, you’ll receive an email. If you agree to write the story, it should be written and submitted within a week.
How can I help?
Start a Snowball is looking for volunteer contributing writers to write stories about different projects their grantees are raising money for. If you’re interested in finding out more about the opportunity, you can contact them through their contact page. You can read an article that I wrote on PKU here.

Start A Snowball is a great project because it helps kids to raise awareness. It’s very good that children have an opportunity to share their thoughts, ideas, stories, opinions. This project is the first step to become a freelancer writer or even a professional writer on the writing service procustomwriting.com. I hope all children will get a pleasure participating in Start A Snowball.
